Welcome! My name is Ruth Zielinski.
This really all began when my own Mother started needing assistance in 2001. It got me thinking, “What do people do when they need some help but still want to live independently? Are the only options an institutional environment – like an assisted living facility, or nursing home?”
Fortunately, we were able to come up with a plan that supported her independence by addressing specific needs – like meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, etc, which allowed her to stay in her own home. As her needs changed we added bathing, personal care, companionship & more.
Other people in Mom’s building noticed, so I asked if I could help them, too. Pretty soon it snowballed & all these folks couldn’t be helped by just one person!
This led me to create Cleveland Home Care. We offer a wide range of in-home care and Healthcare Staffing services, and are proud to have a team of “hand picked”, big hearted caregivers/health aides working with us. We are still small enough that I personally perform all initial assessments, match up our clients needs with the caregivers strengths & personality, and oversee the quality of care received.
Cleveland Home Care has always been based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance, and our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. We strive to obtain only the very best Caregivers / Health Aides to bring into our clients lives. My feeling has always been that I will only hire someone who we would feel comfortable with taking care of my own Mother if she were still here. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
